Another month has passed, and Addison is now 5 months young. She is the happiest little thing and makes everyone around her smile when they see her. She is round and cuddly, calm and easygoing. She smiles when I sing to her and laughs when Hailey plays with her. She grins at daddy's funny noises and sticks out her tongue to express her delight.
If this face doesn't wash your worries away, I don't know what will:

Addison has made progress in a couple areas in the past month. She now sleeps exclusively in her big girl crib for all naps and bedtime. No more rock n play! She is still swaddled for all her sleeping because she is not rolling yet. Nor is she expressing any interest in rolling whatsoever. She is perfectly content on her back just playing with her feet and blowing raspberries.
Accomplishment #2: Addie is now eating cereal! We have been doing this for the past 6 days now and she loves it. I'm making my own oatmeal cereal for her and it's working out really well. In the next couple weeks I plan to start some basic fruits and veggies like bananas, carrots, sweet potatoes, and avocado. All homemade :)

We aren't on a solid schedule at the moment, because her nap lengths vary from day to day. But on average she nurses 4-5 times during the day, and has her cereal right before bed, which is 7-7:30pm. She wakes up around 3-4am to nurse, and is up for the day by 7-7:30am. Usually she takes 3 naps, but if they are short, she will take 4. Her average wake time length is 1 hour and 45 mins. She can make it to 2 hours but no longer than that or she will be a fussy mess! A well rested baby is a happy baby :)
